Susudata (Σουσουδάτα) ist ein Ortsname, der im von PtolemΓ€us um das Jahr 150 erstellten Atlas Geographia erwΓ€hnt wird. Abgeleitet ist das Wort vom germanischen Begriff β€žsusutinβ€œ, Saulache.cite-ref-1[1]

Bisher konnte der Ort nicht sicher lokalisiert werden. Man tippte auf die Umgegend Berlins, wie das sΓΌdlich gelegene Zossen. Ein Forscherteam um Andreas Kleineberg, das die Angaben von PtolemΓ€us neu untersuchte, lokalisierte den Ort auf das Gebiet des heutigen FΓΌrstenwalde in Brandenburg.
